Parking: • Park at the Westport Woods parking lot. We will meet at the Learning Center before heading out to observe the skies. What to Wear & Bring: • Layered clothing (it will be chilly!) • A night sky map, or field guide. We’ll have guides to share, as well. • Binoculars with a large field-of-vision (i.e. 10x50) for stargazing. What to Expect: • A brief intro to winter stargazing, and a short walk into the grassland habitat to view the sky away from light. Restrictions: • Light will be at a minimum.
