We invite you to join us this afternoon for a fun activity. We’ll gather natural materials from the grassland habitat at Westport Woods and use those to create unique crowns with our found items. This is a wonderfully fun way to engage children within the environment, foster environmental awareness, and build appreciation for our natural surroundings. Parking: • Park at the Westport Woods parking lot Who is this event for: • This family-friendly event is for all ages, but small children will need adult guidance for this project What to Wear & Bring: • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes • Weather-appropriate clothing • Bug spray What to Expect: • A short walk through the garden to collect our crafting materials, weather permitting • An indoor art activity, crafting a nature crown from our collected materials Restrictions: • No pets • Limit 15 participants Please contact Aaron@WestportLandTrust.org, Land Connections Coordinator, with any questions
