Parking: • Park at the Westport Woods parking lot Who is this event for: • This walk-and-talk welcomes naturalists of all ages, but is geared towards older children – between 9 and 12 years, or older – who can learn about and safely interact with insects. What to Wear & Bring: • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes • Weather-appropriate clothing • Water • Binoculars What to Expect: • A short indoor speaking portion with our expert, followed by an outdoor exploration of capture sheets, bug traps, and other insect hotspots • Minimal incline • Ground can be wet, with some exposed roots Restrictions: • No pets • Limit 15 participants Please contact Aaron@WestportLandTrust.org, Land Connections Coordinator, with any questions
