Parking: • Park at the Westport Woods parking lot Who is this event for: • This community hike is a low-stakes event geared towards birders of all skill levels, and is a wonderful way to get into the habit of regular, year-round birding. What to Wear & Bring: • Binoculars • Field guide (or just your phone and the Merlin Bird ID app) • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes • Weather-appropriate clothing • Bug spray • Water What to Expect: • Approximately 1.5 mile in length • Minimal incline • Ground can be wet, with some exposed roots Restrictions: • No pets • Limit 15 participants Please contact Aaron@WestportLandTrust.org, Land Connections Coordinator, with any questions
